Hi travelers!! Great video. We met you at a Walmart in Belleville, On Canada when you were on your way home from this Newfoundland trip. I was scanning videos on RUclips today and came across yours. I said to my wife, hey thats the people from Michigan that we met. Glad you enjoyed Newfoundland. We are leaving tomorrow morning for our very own epic Newfoundland adventure. 5 weeks!!! I agree with another commenter, wonderful video. Really enjoyed it except for the louder than needed background noise (music). Curious about your concern about the brakes. I assume you were in 1st (low) gear. Not being there, maybe steeper than it looked. Overall, beautifully done.

Hi , This was a very informative even for me from Newfoundland, I'm in Gander now but I realize we were both in ST. John's at the same time because I was in there when the Titan Submersible went missing and was found. You were definitely a little early for many of the museum opening for the season which was too bad , but you still really found a lot of sites lol. Thanks for taking us along, have a great week.

The sea stack in Trout River was underwater 10,000 or more, years ago. And was left high and dry when the water finally receded.

I updated before the video ended , you later went to Trinity in the video. My daughters boyfriend is from Trinity and part of a boat building family there.

Sorry but I have to downvote this video, and that's something I rarely do when someone has gone to such efforts to produce it. Understating the brutally destructive capability of the Green River Lakes Road is doing everyone a terrible disservice. It's one of my favorite places to camp because it's close to home. It is also being loved to death. If you visit please be courteous, respectful and show appreciation the people who had the foresight to protect it for future generations.

you need to go to most of this in the winter. I find they are the best then.

I've been down that 2-track and camped on the shores of tippy dam many times. As of a couple weeks ago, camping directly on the shores is prohibited as noted by the DNR stakes all over the place. Awesome spot down there for sure tho.

Wondering about lower Michigan boon docking sites. Be nice to find sites that are not as far. Liked the video sure is beautiful and appreciate the advice.

The USDA Forest Service has lost access to Paradise Point per a 2020 press release: www.fs.usda.gov/detail/hiawatha/news-events/?cid=FSEPRD808965. "To limit potential liability concerns, the private landowner has decided to close the section of FR 2491 on their property". So now it's only accessible by boat. Which might actually be a funner way to go.
