Sites like these are reasons I wish we would have gone with a smaller camper. So beautiful and secluded.
That’s why we love our smaller unit. Thanks for watching!
Is the Michigan Dog Man around?
😂 Lived in Michigan all my life and had never heard of the Michigan Dogman. He certainly wasn’t there that year. But if encountered by one, believers say clapping your hands will scare him away (according to Wikipedia).
Love your video. Coming up soon. Only have a week. Wish I could have a month to see alot of the waterfalls. Will have to go back up when I can have more time.
Have fun! You’ll love seeing them in real life. We did all those waterfalls in 9 days. Thanks for watching!
Awesome videography. Now I want to retire to one of those jellybean row houses. Just drink coffee and watch the fog roll in over the bay. Have either of you seen Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz in "The Long, Long Trailer?" Started to think of that as you were collecting rocks.
Doug, thanks for watching! You would love visiting Newfound land. We have not watched “The Long, Long Trailer”, but we should put it on our list to watch.
Hi travelers!! Great video. We met you at a Walmart in Belleville, On Canada when you were on your way home from this Newfoundland trip. I was scanning videos on RUclips today and came across yours. I said to my wife, hey thats the people from Michigan that we met. Glad you enjoyed Newfoundland. We are leaving tomorrow morning for our very own epic Newfoundland adventure. 5 weeks!!! Safe travels....
That is so cool! Yes, we remember talking in the parking lot about your truck camper. I hope you have a wonderful trip to Newfoundland. I think I remember you saying you were originally from Newfoundland. Do you have relatives there to visit? Safe travels. We’re currently in Jasper National Park, having just left Banff National Park on our way to Alaska.
I agree with another commenter, wonderful video. Really enjoyed it except for the louder than needed background noise (music). Curious about your concern about the brakes. I assume you were in 1st (low) gear. Not being there, maybe steeper than it looked. Overall, beautifully done.
Thanks for watching.
Watching a second time because my wife was busy the first time and she wanted to see this episode, I should have known lol.
Thank your wife for watching! Appreciate all your comments. I hope we represented your province well. It was a great experience and the people of Newfoundland are so friendly and kind. We hope to visit again someday in the future. Now…off to Alaska.
@@HaventSeenItYet You definitely gave the province and it's people a great review. Looking forward to your Alaska journeys and if you're ever back in Newfoundland maybe we can have a coffee.
Would love it. Same to you if you ever find yourself in Michigan. I saw your video with your sticker board. You have a “Haven’t Seen It Yet” sticker heading your way.
@@HaventSeenItYet I really appreciate that I'll get you address off your letter and will return the favor have an awesome day
Wonderful history and photography.
Thank you very much for the nice compliments and for watching!
Hi , This was a very informative even for me from Newfoundland, I'm in Gander now but I realize we were both in ST. John's at the same time because I was in there when the Titan Submersible went missing and was found. You were definitely a little early for many of the museum opening for the season which was too bad , but you still really found a lot of sites lol. Thanks for taking us along, have a great week.
Neat that we were both in St John’s at the same time. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video , thanks for taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it
The sea stack in Trout River was underwater 10,000 or more, years ago. And was left high and dry when the water finally receded.
Thanks for watching!
I updated before the video ended , you later went to Trinity in the video. My daughters boyfriend is from Trinity and part of a boat building family there.
Enjoying this one on a cold dreary morning from the comfort of our living room here in Gander NL. Our daughter has a vacation home in Twillingate, we also visit the Bonavista peninsula because our otyer daughter has land in Trinity Trinity Bay just south of Elliston. Here's a little video of fishing in Twillingate and getting close to the icebergs. ruclips.net/video/dgkb8B46gjs/видео.htmlsi=uWo8J-Urdfxp9o1N
Thanks for sharing the video. It must be neat to see the icebergs up so close from the boat. Also looked like a really good fishing day. We absolutely loved visiting Newfoundland and hope to visit again someday (we have a lot of places on our bucket list and some are repeats like NL). I even bought a NL plate for the front of the truck. Our next video on NL we stop in Gander to visit the North Atlantic Avation Museum to see the Safe Haven 9/11 Exhibit. If you were one of those individuals from Gander who helped in 2001, THANK YOU!
@@HaventSeenItYetmy wife and I were indeed two of the helpers and you're kindly welcome.
And yes we had a great day fishing , hopefully will be doing it again in a months time although the ice bergs are scarce this year.
Great video , lovely narrative of the island I call home , I have been to many of those locations but you still provided information that I was unaware of, my daughter has a vacation home in Twillingate and last summer here is a video of I did of fishing and those icebergs you spoke of , I've subscribed to follow your journeys, Thanks for taking us along. ruclips.net/video/dgkb8B46gjs/видео.htmlsi=bEYU7c8-yMmIRKoi
Are these the coordinates for the location west of Brethren on the MR? 44.26124, -86.0347
Close…we were about 1 to 1.5 miles to the east.
Very nice I enjoyed it
Thanks for watching, Jon!
love those icebergs!! dc
They were pretty cool to see, thanks for watching!
That looks like a very memorable vacation. The sights are amazing. Waterfalls are one of my favorite things to hike in to. Take care.
It was a memorable vacation. Glad you enjoy waterfalls also. Thanks for watching!
Great photography!
Thank you! Thanks for watching.
I grew up fishing amongst these but never paid them much attention because they were not a food source
Lol. Thanks for watching.
Sorry but I have to downvote this video, and that's something I rarely do when someone has gone to such efforts to produce it. Understating the brutally destructive capability of the Green River Lakes Road is doing everyone a terrible disservice. It's one of my favorite places to camp because it's close to home. It is also being loved to death. If you visit please be courteous, respectful and show appreciation the people who had the foresight to protect it for future generations.
you need to go to most of this in the winter. I find they are the best then.
Maybe we’ll try that sometime, thanks for the suggestion. Thanks for watching.
Wonderful footage! I miss that part of the world, a lot! Thanks so much:)
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
It's a tight squeeze in some of them old two tracks in my RZR. I couldn't imagine trying to get a truck back there
We’ve earned a few pin-stripes our adventures, that’s for sure. 😄
Great series of videos....thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I've spent my entire life in those woods. Tippy is my home.
You know where the best areas are, I’ll bet.
I have heard of being in da boondocks but what is boondocking?
Some avid RV owners refer to boondocking as dry camping or free camping. Others may refer to it as independent or wild camping. Boondocking in the RV world means that you are not connected to water, sewer, or electricity.
Planning my trip this year. I'm going take that ride through Idaho. thanks very helpful info for my trip.
Hope you enjoy the ride through Idaho as much as we did. We will be back in Idaho again someday. Thanks for watching!
Love the videos I watched the hole series but I that u had a nap of where u went but now I can’t find it if u have one please send it! Love what u are doing!
Thank you for watching! Here is the map you requested: ruclips.net/video/K4BqI_1oT3g/видео.html
I've been down that 2-track and camped on the shores of tippy dam many times. As of a couple weeks ago, camping directly on the shores is prohibited as noted by the DNR stakes all over the place. Awesome spot down there for sure tho.
Yes, it is a wonderful spot. We didn’t get to that area this year, but maybe soon. Thanks for watching!
Wondering about lower Michigan boon docking sites. Be nice to find sites that are not as far. Liked the video sure is beautiful and appreciate the advice.
The Manistee-Huron National Forest is our go-to in the lower peninsula. We have a few videos, but don’t list the Lat/Lon (because they’re closer to home 😉), but we give some clues if you grab your map. See here ruclips.net/video/DsSlUCXQnQk/видео.htmlsi=j7JEW5pdekKoke3R or ruclips.net/video/wUBzrcGeZsA/видео.htmlsi=zGevV3klDYJ_yZWb Also look on iOverlander, Boondocking app and Campendium for options from others. Thanks for watching!
Just found your channel. I really like your format and just subscribed.
Great video. We love your narration. You are going a great job of sharing the highlights of your adventures.
Thank you so much!
There is a book my wife bought. Has all the falls We toured a few. Some no one would ever know are there without a local. Or the book.
We had a great time visiting as many falls as we could in 9 days. Thanks for watching!
Idaho is super underrated
Idaho certainly is underrated and we can’t wait to head back and find more adventures.
Sorry, but the music was SUPER annoying. I only watched half of the clip.
The USDA Forest Service has lost access to Paradise Point per a 2020 press release: www.fs.usda.gov/detail/hiawatha/news-events/?cid=FSEPRD808965. "To limit potential liability concerns, the private landowner has decided to close the section of FR 2491 on their property". So now it's only accessible by boat. Which might actually be a funner way to go.
Thank you
You're welcome
I love puffins🤗🤗
They are amazing little birds to watch. Thanks for visiting.
@@HaventSeenItYet Yes I was here today but unfortunately it was foggy and I couldn’t see puffin very well😞
@@Mytravel_videos that’s a bummer. Hopefully you’re still in the area to get another chance tomorrow?
@@HaventSeenItYet No we just were one day.
Sorry to hear that.
Really good video. New sub. 👍. I’ll be in The Winds in a few weeks.
Enjoy your time there. Thanks for watching!
Can you tell me how far the hike is to the viewpoint of Squaretop mountain along the river?
AllTrails says it’s a 7.7 mile loop trail. The view of Square Top overlooking the lake with the Merganser Ducks was at the midpoint of the hike. Here’s the link from AllTrails : www.alltrails.com/trail/us/wyoming/green-river-lakes-loop?sh=fywc22
Nicely done!
Thanks for the visit
Cute little goofballs in tuxedos.
Thats what happens when hikers from California visit Idaho. 😢

Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the videos, thanks for watching and subscribing.
Where is the best place to hike?
We only did the Green River Lakes loop trail on this day. Check out the All Trails app, that would give you all the trails in the area and you could chose the trail that fits your skill level. Have fun hiking. Thanks for watching!
